USACA NEWS

Dear League Admins, I hope you are all well.

I wanted to provide you with an update on a few key developments over the past few weeks:

(1)          USA Cricket – Membership Discounts on Playing Kit & Apparel

As recently announced HERE, USA Cricket has appointed T10 Sports as its Official Playing Kit & Apparel Partner.

As part of that deal, T10 Sports have agreed to support domestic cricket in the USA with all USA Cricket Members – Individuals, Leagues, Clubs and Academies – being offered significant discounts for their future playing kit and apparel requirements through T10 at highly discounted prices.  T10 Sports has a wide range of clothing in terms of pricing and quality, and they are able to cater to the entire spectrum of domestic and grassroots cricket in the USA at a competitive price.

We anticipate that the e-commerce shop that we are developing will be concluded within the next week or so, and we will be making the T10 playing kit and apparel available to all USA Cricket Members immediately thereafter, so please bear this opportunity in mind if/when you are planning the purchase of all future playing kit and apparel for your League and its Clubs/Academies.

(2)          USA Cricket - Membership discounts on equipment and balls

We are in the process of concluding partnerships with ball and equipment manufacturers that will ensure that a wide range of equipment and balls are also made available at discounted prices to all Members.  We hope to make this announcement within the next couple of weeks, and I will share this with you when it happens; and then when those items are also available through our e-commerce shop.

(3)          Shaping the Future for Women & Girls in American Cricket

We recently launched a plan to Shape the Future for Women and Girls in American Cricket - HERE

The delivery of some of the key growth initiatives within the Plan (especially those that relate to the objective of increasing participation in all aspects of the sport) will likely require the support and cooperation of Leagues, Clubs and Academies across the country, working together with the rest of the cricket community and USA Cricket.

This is an exciting opportunity and a key strategic choice that USA Cricket has made to focus on women and girls over the next few years for the reasons set out in the Plan.  We encourage all Leagues to get involved on this journey and we look forward to working with you all on this.

(4)          USA Cricket - Volunteer Awards for 2021

We recently announced (HERE) the creation of the USA Cricket Annual Awards, which includes in particular a series of Volunteer of the Year Awards across five categories that will launch in 2021, and which will recognize the commitment, dedication and excellence throughout 2021 demonstrated by the volunteers that are the lifeblood of the American cricketing community.

Please consider whether there are individuals within your Leagues, Clubs and Academies that are deserving of recognition in this way, and put forward your nominations through the nomination form contained in the release: HERE

(5)          Commercial Partners for USAC National Championships – Men’s Senior and Men’s U19

We recently announced (HERE) that we were seeking commercial partnerships to help support some of USA Cricket’s domestic competitions.  As explained in the media release, interested parties are encouraged to get in touch with USA Cricket through the RFP@usacricket.org email address.

USA Cricket would be very grateful if you could circulate this release to anybody that you think might be interested in these partnership opportunities, or otherwise let me know of any potential leads/suggestions/contacts/interested parties, and also share within your wider networks.

That’s all for now – thank you for your continuing support.

Kind regards,
